Donovan@Dawn: 6AM - 10AM

Jackie Donovan:

In 1978, Gene Simmons told me I was the only woman he would ever be with…..then I found out there were a couple of other women in his life. That revelation made me question everything….including the existence of the Tooth Fairy and Unicorns. Then it dawned on me….he was just playing hard to get. I was resourceful….I gave up a great job on Wall Street and accompanied Kiss all across America on their tour. When the band and I arrived in Tulsa, OK, there was a welcoming committee, they must celebrate Halloween in June there because they were all in costumes. Clearly the Oklahoma people have zero imagination because they were all dressed as cops….geez….not even a clown in the group. Apparently the word “accompany” and “stalking” are interchangeable in the Great Plains – who knew? So they took me to a very nice place to stay and “rest” for a while. Once my lease was up at the Lost Your Mind Inn (they called it “conditional release”, that must be another Oklahoma term), I had to relocate. Moving was tough because I still had this pesky restraining order thing that apparently means that I must keep 100 miles between Gene and I, clearly he still has feelings for me and it makes him uncomfortable. Join me weekday mornings with Donovan @ Dawn... As long as I can keep a balance between the music and the meds, we’ll have a good time….you, me and all the voices in my head.

Ed Kelly: 10AM - 3PM
Hello There! I’m Ed Kelly, your voice of reason during your mid-day.

The only problem is that the voice of reason is only one of several that I hear in my head every day! So listen at your own risk!! Those voices stem from being raised as one of ten kids who were always yelling, screaming & singing at each other. But I think the singing part is what gave me my appreciation for music since I personally can’t carry a tune in a tractor trailer! Music has been a major part of my life since the 1960’s & I know quite a bit about the music that you & I love so I hope you’ll join me each weekday here on Classic Hits Q101.7

Johnny Ray - 3PM to 7PM Weekdays

After three decades of serving the USA in the military and traveling around the world, Johnny Ray returns to Upstate New York to entertain the listeners during THE WORK RELEASE PROGRAM from 3pm - 7pm daily.

A graduate of The New School of Radio and Television (Albany) and fresh off a stint as the co-host of the TV program “The New 16/116”, Johnny Ray enjoys all kinds of music, but has a special place in his heart (and ears) for Classic Hits!

He hopes THE WORK RELEASE PROGRAM keeps you entertained, if you’re on your way to work or on your way home!

Suzanne: 7PM - Midnight
When Suzanne was nine, she spent her summer listening to her local AM radio station, calling her favorite DJ to request the same song every 15 minutes – Shaun Cassidy’s “Da Doo Ron Ron” - and winning a ton of prizes, which made her realize that radio is the coolest thing EVER!  So naturally, that’s what she chose to do with her life and in her words, it has been “a glorious day in radio land” ever since.  She’s got pretty eclectic tastes in music thanks to one brother who loved rock and metal, another who leaned toward pop and alternative, and a mom who sang Rod Stewart at the top of her lungs in the wood paneled station wagon, and yes, she’s THAT person who has the radio turned up and the windows rolled down.

Tim Celeste: Weekends 7PM-Midnight

Hey, Classic Hits Peeps, it's your weekend friend, Tim Celeste.  A little about me -- I have gone by many nicknames over the years.  Some of you may know me by "Timmer", "Boomer", "Boom", "Boom Jr." and "Pogolove/Jonepog" (interesting story about that name).  I've been in this wacky radio business for close to 27 years... please don't do the math as it will make me sad.  Plus counting that high may give you a headache.  Besides playing the classic hits over the weekend, I work behind the scenes at Classic Hits WNYQ... someone has to guard the music vault.  Besides enjoying the Classic Hits, I am a HUGE WWE fan (You can't see me), plus I love Boardwalk Empire on HBO, so no phone calls please on Sunday and Monday nights.  Give me a friendly hello on Facebook or drop me an e-mail.  Below is the countdown clock till Christmas:

Remember events occur in real time (A little 24 humor).  Thanks for stopping by and listening to Classic Hits WNYQ.

John Clark: Midnight to 6AM

John Clark is your overnight host on Classic Hits Q101.7.  Listen to him as you're heading to bed or working hard on that night shift.  He'll have your favorites, plus stuff you haven't heard in a while.  Check back soon for his bio here on Classic Hits Q101.7.

Mike Davis: Weekends on Q101.7

Truth be told, we're trying to figure out just who exactly Mike Davis is.  He's come up missing in group photos, and is often seen lurking around Ed Kelly's mini-fridge.  But we can tell you that he knows the songs he's talking about, and gives you something to talk about every weekend when he's on Classic Hits Q101.7.  Catch him sometime over the weekend -- and then tell him that he needs to give us a true blurb about himself.
