The Adirondack Wine and Food Festival announced on social media on Monday that the 2020 event has now officially been cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The yearly event at the Charles R. Wood Park originally announced plans to switch dates to September back in April, but with travel restrictions still in place and a cap on gatherings by Governor Andrew Cuomo, the potential of the event to take place at the end of summer was dwindling as the summer went by.
Ticket purchasers for the 2020 event will be credited with a full refund after about a week or two for processing.
With the announcement, the event organizers announced a return to Lake George’s Charles R. Wood Park June 26th and 27th for the 2021 event. Tickets will go on sale at a later date, and will announce more details about the event in the coming months.
