#WhitehallStrong Virtual Concert to benefit flood victims

There will be a virtual concert on Tuesday, September 1st to benefit those affected by the recent floods in Whitehall.

The concert will feature local bands PJ Duo & Friends and Hometown, who will be joined by guest speakers to talk about how the recent floods affected the northern Washington County town.
On Monday, August 24th, the town and village of Whitehall was devastated when thunderstorms passed through the region dumping nearly 6 inches of rain in a short period of time, resulting in the several waterways that converge in Whitehall overflowing their banks and flooding onto the streets, coupled fallen trees and landslides.
All donations will go towards the Out of the Box Worship Center in Whitehall, ensuring the money to stay local to help with storm relief. You can donate on Venmo through @whitehallstrong, or via PayPal by going to paypal.me/whitehallstrong.
Checks can be mailed directly to Out of the Box Worship Center at the following address:
Out of the Box Worship Center
21 Broadway
Whitehall, NY 12887
The event is presented thanks to local media sources The Whitehall Times and Lakes Region Freepress.   You can find out more information about the event by going onto the Facebook Event page.
