The Washington County Public Health is in the process of tracing after a positive coronavirus case at Hudson Falls’s Margaret Murphy Kindergarten Center this week.
According to the County Public Health, the exposure came by way of a student who was seen on school property as recent as Wednesday, September 30th. The Washington County Public Health is in the process of identify all potential exposures for contract tracing purposes.
As a result, the Hudson Falls School District announces early dismissal for all students in all their district-wide buildings for Thursday, and are shifting to remote learning for the next 5 days while the public health investigation is ongoing to identify all tracing.
The process of tracing will be handled by phone calls. Those receiving calls from the County Health Department will show up on caller ID as “NYS Contact Tracing” or “Washington Co”.
No word at this time whether or not the case is related to the reported case at the Dollar Tree store in Kingsbury, which is only a half mile away from two of Hudson Falls’s schools, Dix Avenue and the High School.
