On May 15th, 1987, Motley Crue released their fourth studio album, titled “Girls, Girls, Girls”. Besides the title track that gave some love to some of the strip joins the Crue frequented in various states on tours, the album also spawned two other singles.
“Wild Side” was the song that kicked off the album, but was the second single released. The third was “You’re All I Need”, released in October of 1987.
“Girls, Girls Girls” was a commercial success, debuting at 2nd on the Billboard 100, being denied of the top spot by Whitney Houston’s “Whitney” album. They would achieve the top spot with their follow-up album, “Dr. Feelgood” a couple years later.
Today’s daily download is that second single off the album, “Wild Side”.
