Just because summer is wrapping up soon doesn't mean ice cream season ends. In Delmar, a new locally owned ice cream shop called 'The Delmar Scoop' plans on opening at Delmar's Four Corners on Kenwood Avenue in September.
Owner Cara Bashant tells News 10 that she sees opportunity with the other eateries says she
I grew up working at Jim’s Tastee Freez and loved it, but hard ice cream is my favorite,” said Bashant. “This location is perfect — lots of restaurants so hopefully people will walk over for dessert after dinner.
