Plow truck caught fire in front of Hackett Middle School on Delaware Avenue

 While the dedicated crews from the Department of General Services (DGS) were working tirelessly overnight to clear Albany's streets of snow and ice, an unexpected incident occurred when one of their plow trucks caught fire in front of Hackett Middle School on Delaware Avenue. The fire broke out as the truck was actively engaged in snow removal, but thanks to the swift response of the Albany Permanent Professional Firefighters Association Local 2007, the fire was quickly extinguished. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident.
