A pawstive way to start your Thanksgiving!

If you’re looking for a fun way to kick off your Thanksgiving morning—and maybe burn off a little pre–pumpkin pie energy—the 10th annual Dog Trot at Capital Hills Golf Course in Albany is the perfect tradition to join. This year’s trot takes place from 9 to 11 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day, and it’s shaping up to be one of the best yet.
This pawstively adorable walk is a great way to show how thankful we are to the rescues and all there members who go out of there way everyday to help local animals in need. Participants are encouraged to bring donations such as dog and cat food, treats, leashes, toys, Greenies pill pockets, towels and other pet supplies. Everything collected will be given to the Mohawk Hudson Human Society
So not only are you doing something good for yourself and your pup, but you’re also helping local animals at the Mohawk Hudson Human Society.
Grab your dog, maybe your gloves, and your holiday spirit and head to Capital Hills Golf Course on Thanksgiving morning. The Dog Trot runs from 9 to 11 a.m., and everyone well behaved —on two legs or four—is welcome.
Start your holiday off with fresh air and your furry best friend! Remind
