Police are asking drivers to avoid the area
Albany Police say parts of Clinton Avenue and Partridge Street are shut down after a section of the road buckled. Clinton is closed between Ontario Street and Manning Boulevard, and Partridge is blocked off between Central Avenue and Clinton.
No official cause has been given yet, but the recent heat could be a factor. There’s no timeline for when the streets will reopen.
Access to Roots Academy at West Hill is still open, despite the closures, otherwise plan for delays and detours until further notice.
