A local storm chaser caught it all on camera
YouTuber I Ry the Weather Guy experienced his first tornado on Thursday night when a powerful storm tore through Saratoga County. From the parking lot at the Exit 16 Travel Plaza in Wilton, he was right in the middle of it when the strong winds sent debris flying through the air - also causing a transformer to explode.
After surveying the storm damage on Friday, the National Weather Service confirms that a tornado did indeed touch down near Wilton Thursday night.
