The Army midfielder joins the inaugural Maryland Charm in the WLL

Queensbury's Brigid Duffy will head south this Spring.

The prolific midfielder for Army's Women's Lacrosse program was drafted third overall on Wednesday night by the Maryland Charm in the Women's Lacrosse League 2026 Collegiate Draft.

The Women's Lacrosse League is in its second year, operated by the Premier Lacrosse League.  The League hosts four clubs and play across various venues throughout the season, including Rhode Island, Baltimore and Long Island to name a few.

As a midfielder, Brigid Duffy has been breaking records with Army.  Last year her 64 goals, 47 ground balls and 32 forced turnovers all broke records for a single season at Army, and she enters her senior season with 182 total goals.  Earlier this season she helped Army end Loyola's 93 game Patriot League win streak as it was the first time Army had beaten Loyola in 11 years.

So far in 2026, Duffy has amassed 69 points, 45 draw controls and 31 caused turnovers.
