Watch out if you're taking the Northway from the Adirondacks towards the Glens Falls area
If you are traveling the Northway this afternoon, watch out for an accident that has slowed down traffic near Exit 22 (Route 9/9N, Lake George Village). According to reports via The Post-Star and 511NY, the accident involves a rollover vehicle that is blocking the left lane heading southbound, blocking the left lane of the two lanes on that stretch of Interstate 87.
The incident is also slowing down traffic heading northbound as the attention of flashing lights and the rolled over vehicle is grabbing the attention of passerbys.
UPDATE: As of 2:25pm, this accident has been cleared and traffic is back to normal speeds, according to 511ny.org
