Where you can catch Fireworks this Independence Day!

Looking to make plans for the 4th of July?

Well, check out this list of places you can go to catch some fireworks and maybe other events along with them.  Most events are free, but some may require an admission fee or a parking charge to attend.  NOTE: Fireworks launch times are approximate as some are listed as "at dusk", and are weather dependent.  

Friday, June 26th:

9:30pm - Schaghticoke Fairgrounds, Schaghticoke

Catch a Revolutionary War reenactment, the 42nd Infantry Band and food vendors on the fairgrounds starting at 4pm.

Thursday, July 2nd:

9:30pm - Washington County Fairgrounds, Greenwich

Live music and food vendors will begin the late afternoon festivities at 3:30pm.

Friday, July 3rd: 

9:00pm - Brown's Beach, Stillwater (Saratoga Lake's Southern Side)

Note there is a $5 Parking Fee at the Beach.

9:00pm - Crandall Park, Glens Falls

The Annual Glens Falls Symphony's Summer Pops Concert takes place on the stage starting at 7:30pm

9:15pm - Hague Town Park, Hague

Live music to begin at 6:30pm.

Saturday, July 4th:

9:00pm - Saratoga City Center, Saratoga Springs

All part of the Saratoga All-American Celebration in Downtown Saratoga Springs.  The annual Firecracker4 Road Race takes place at 9AM at the City Center, plus live music and entertainment in Downtown Saratoga Springs starting at 7pm.  The Declaration of Independence will be read at 9PM, prior to the fireworks launch from the City Center parking garage. 

9:15pm - Empire State Plaza, Albany

Live Music takes to the main stage starting at 5:00pm, followed by fireworks at dusk.  Presented by Market 32/Price Chopper.

9:15pm - Schroon Lake Town Beach, Schroon Lake

Chicken BBQ to start at 11AM until all sold out.  Live music and entertainment begins at Noon, and a parade will step off at 6pm.

9:15pm - Bicentennial Park, Ticonderoga

Part of the "Best 4th in the North" week-long celebration.  Carnival with Rides, Games, Food to take place July 1st through 5th.  Live music will fill Bicentennial Park July 1st through the 4th.  A Parade through Downtown Ticonderoga on July 4th.

9:30pm - Lake George Village, Lake George

Additional fireworks launches may be scheduled during the weekend.  Fireworks launched from a barge on Lake George.

9:30pm - Rogers Memorial Park, Bolton Landing

Live music to begin at 6:00pm.

9:30pm - Clifton Commons, Clifton Park

Parade begins at noon at Shenendehowa High School to Clifton Commons, then games, food and activities at Clifton Commons.  Live music by Big Sky Country prior to the fireworks launch.

Sunday, July 5th:

9:00pm - North Field, Silver Bay
